The Search Recap

Our March Main Event called “The Search” was a basketful of fun!  The Easter egg hunt was exciting not only for the little ones, but for the big kids as well.  We hid 3 camouflaged eggs that took the high schoolers a long time to find (good hiding, Debbie!).  But the search was worth it because each one held a $25 gift card prize for either iTunes, Coldstone Creamery, or Panera.  After the little ones rifled through their eggs for the jelly beans and stickers, they worked with their family to create resurrection eggs to help them learn about Jesus’ journey to resurrection life!  While the kids were engaged, the adults got to talk a bit about the Real Truth of new life in Jesus and how people in the LITH community are searching for it.  And after grabbing a bottle of Coca Cola on the way out (cause the Real Thing reminds us of Real Truth!), most everyone met at Portillo’s for some much needed italian beef & hot dogs!
